Moldova
Moldova Conformity Mark (SM Conformity Mark), Certificate of Conformity, and Telecom Type Approval are mandatory steps for product entry into the Moldovan market. We provide certification services to help you successfully obtain these approvals and ensure smooth market access.

Certification Services in Moldova:
- Certificate of Conformity
- Telecom Type Approval
Certificate of Conformity
We assist in obtaining the Certificate of Conformity, which certifies that products intended for export comply with applicable standards or technical regulations. It also confirms the safe use of items and technologies with a higher risk level, as prescribed by specific standards.
The main authority responsible is the National Accreditation Center MOLDAC.
Moldova Conformity Mark (SM Conformity Mark)

Products subject to conformity assessment in the regulated area must be marked by the manufacturer with the SM (Standard Moldovenescu) Conformity Mark before being placed on the market, if technical regulations require mandatory marking. Starting this year, CE certification is also required. The SM mark confirms compliance with the essential requirements established by Moldovan technical regulations.
The national SM conformity mark consists of the letters S and M, symbolizing "securitatea conform cerinţelor esenţiale" and "Moldova".
Marking Requirements
Imported goods must be labeled with the following information:
- Importer’s name and address
- Product name, including trade name (if applicable)
- Manufacturer’s name and address
- Net weight of the product (metric system)
- Date of production, packaging, and import
The SM mark must not be applied to products already bearing the CE mark. Conformity assessment must follow new technical regulations for radio and EMC. Based on type-examination certificates, manufacturers should issue a declaration of conformity.
Telecom Type Approval
Radio and telecom equipment require Telecom Type Approval from the National Regulatory Agency for Telecommunications and Informatics. Typically, a sample must be provided for testing at an accredited Moldovan laboratory.
Product Safety Testing
• Complies with Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU – CB test report and certificate accepted.
• EMC testing in line with Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive 2014/30/EU.
Telecom Type Approval Schemes
• Module A – Self Declaration
• Module B – Sample Testing
• Module H – Quality Management System
Certificate Validity
3 years (unless product or standards change). Validity may require ongoing factory inspections.
Certification Requirements
Mandatory for all equipment rated above 50Vac and below 1000Vac (75Vdc to 1500Vdc), which may cause electromagnetic disturbance or be affected by such disturbance.
