BIS – CRS Scheme
The Compulsory Registration Scheme (CRS) under BIS is mandatory for 77 categories of consumer electronics. Both Indian and foreign manufacturers intending to sell their products in India must obtain BIS–CRS certification.

BIS – ISI Scheme

WPC – Wireless Approval
The Wireless Planning and Coordination (WPC) wing, part of India’s Ministry of Communications and IT, is the national authority for spectrum management and wireless licensing. WPC is responsible for ETA certification (Equipment Type Approval), which is mandatory for products using wireless communication technologies.
